I have always wanted some of the cochins but have all broodies

I have only been getting 1 egg a day from my black silkies and nada from my lavs

maybe you could make a side swap with someone for a future bunch of eggs, and they could put theirs up here?

Mine probably won't be laying until fall in all honesty...it is hot here and they are all either broody or molting

Current offer:
I'll offer the following:

• 12+ silver grey dorkings
• 6+ mixture of black/self blue and mille fleur/partridge bantam cochins - i've got broody's in both pens now...

- mille fleur roo with 2 blue partridge split mille = mille fleur, blue mille fleur, partridge or blue partridge
- black/self blue bantam cochin - black/sb roo over 2 black/sb and 1 self blue hens
OR

• 8+ easter eggers - EE hens with silver grey dorking roos - chicks from this cross should lay a nice bright blue egg. - i know the EE aren't SQ, but i'll offer just to keep the chain going if nobody wants cochins or dorkings.

ok, had to remove the coturnix... lost my roo. so it'll be a couple months before i have another one ready to go. (eggs hatching next week)

the offer may change again between now and whenever it's taken. the dorkings i should have, same with EE.
i can also offer 12+ mixture of whatever's laid.

come on, lets get this going again!

ok another update to my updated update...

the cochins are not available now, as they've ALL gone broody... sorry guys you snooze you loose.

so all i can offer now are the 12+ dorkings or 8+ EE

that's all i have eggs for now, unless you want the cochins and are willing to wait for them to come back around.


click the pic for the bigger version... it's a compilation of several taken in quick succession to show all the dorkings and others. my self blue can be seen in the pen behind. and the red roo and crele oegb are in the bachelor pen, not free now. so the only roos available are the sg boys now... the big guy was recuperating at the time i took the pics.

Kinslersgram, welcome to the sq swap page. Please read the first post of this thread and it will explain how this works. You look at the current offer, if its something you want, post that you want it and then post what you are offering. Then the next person takes what your offering and offers something else. you send your address to the person whose eggs you are taking, and send eggs to the person who claims your eggs

take my swap then you can post yours. 8) that's the way the egg chain works. you take the current, then offer yours for the next person to take.
