It was over 105 here yesterday. our paddocks look like a feather pillow fight. The birds are dropping feathers everywhere. Egg production is very low while the birds finish their molt. I am sure everyone is having this issue.
will ship on Mon, Tues or Wed following being claimed
I am so sorry to have tell y'all this but I have lost my entire flock of over 100 chickens to Mycoplasma. I will not be able to honor my hatching egg offer here. If you have to ban me, then I understand. But know that it is beyond my control & I'm trying to do the right thing by explaining it before some one claimed my offer & got disappointed. Again, I am so sorry. I'm dealing with a huge loss currently.mine! ... i need new bloodline to mix in with mine...

yikes. sorry to hear that... how are you going to be able to house the new birds? i thought mycoplasma could live in the soil for a long time, making it next to impossible to get rid of? hope i'm wrong.I am so sorry to have tell y'all this but I have lost my entire flock of over 100 chickens to Mycoplasma. The eggs I received on this swap are still in the incubator & developing well. What ever hatches from those will be the only chickens I have.
Thanks Y'all ...playing was fun...
My poultry vet says it won't stay in the dirt. But I'm going to house any new birds in above ground brooders, cages & coops to be on the safe side. I'm bleaching everything. I'm not going to restock my flocks. I already had the MFD eggs & about 15 other ordered eggs in the incubator when I found out my birds were sick. So I'll let these hatch and hope they don't show any signs of being sick. I hope they don't get mycoplasma from my incubator. Anyways, I'll wait & watch & see how these babies in the incubator do & go from there.yikes. sorry to hear that... how are you going to be able to house the new birds? i thought mycoplasma could live in the soil for a long time, making it next to impossible to get rid of? hope i'm wrong.
