Sq footage

My coop is now complete and I have 70 square foot of enclosed run. and a 48 sq foot coop. Is this plenty of space for 5 hens and 1rooster. I am getting rhode island reds... they are alreay laying hens 1 yr old,

That's a nice size setup for 6; your chickens should be quite happy with it!

The suggested rule is 4 square feet of space per chicken inside and 10 square feet per chicken outside so for 6 hickens that would be great. Happy chickens
