Sorry for the late reply, they made it fine but one went missing and i haven't found him/her since the other which is a male came back after a week of going missing (underweight and with a cold)
But the wood shavings didnt harm them it jus goes through their digestive system

Nice to hear that they were ok! Do you live near a town with feral pigeons? Yours may be flocking with them when you let them free fly. Either that or you have a hawk problem like I do...

Nope no hawk problem and as for flocking with other pigeons i doubt it as they wouldnt fly much only to the roof and back down for feed . Iv got the other sibling and im keeping a close eye on him as i went through alot of trouble to see that they make it
