Squatting?

Hi! Whenever I come near my hens, they all squat down with their shoulders up. I was wondering what it means.

haha.........I scratch mine.......... it won't hurt them and soon they will realize YOU are not the roo they want

I just tucked my girls in for the night. Buffy, Penguin, Easter, and Flyer all
did the squat for me. They are so affectionate.


Technique:

Give them a little scratch on the back of their neck. Move down the back,
scratching the whole time, until you get to the base of their back. Give one
last scratch. Then, using your thumb and middle finger to massage their
sides, right behind their wings but in front of their tail. If you do it
correctly their tails will rise into the air. Continue rubbing for a few
seconds while the tails are in the air. Then stop.

If they stand up and do a quick shake you have done it correctly. Good job.
