Squatting!!!

Okay guys I'm really excited because my white leghorn is beginning to squat when I go to touch her and she stands very still. My white Plymouth Rock is doing the same! I hope for some eggs soon!! How long did it take between the first sign of squatting and the first egg? And by the way my ladies both won blue ribbons at my county fair!
