Here, squirrels are the plague. My DH shoots every one he can when their numbers start showing up again. Eventually, we don't see any for quite some time, then of course, the new batch shows up and it starts all over. Guess the foxes and coyotes around here are grateful for the realllly slow prey they're catching on the other side of the power line easement, LOL.

The rodents there also carry haunta virus

I encourage snakes in my yard (not my home) b/c I'd rather have a couple of snakes in the yard then rodents!!!!! I don't even like the so called "cute" ones w/ big tails or ears.
