They could possibly be carrying diseases (and ticks) and sometimes they’ll attack chickens (more likely chicks) over food competition. I’d either trap or shoot them before it’s too late.

by the way, when i had replied to cluckmecoop7 i was talking about the tick part. Not shooting them part, im a vegan so i would have no clue either way.

OP. If you want, you can try your hands at squrriel deteriorate. I have had okay luck with putting out feed they don’t like, or using things that might detour them. They still end up coming back at some point for me, though.

Oh no don’t apologize! You didn’t say anything rude! I apologize to, im sure a lot of people do eat squirrel as food so what i said might have came off a little rude.
