Do squirrels in South Carolina hibernate in November? My yard is usually over-run with squirrels...... But, this year NO SQUIRRELS PICKING UP ACORNS !!!
I have not seen a squirrel in 3 weeks or more

Squirrels do not hibernate. The have to forage everyday.

If you have a yard full of acrons and no squirrels I would just some predator (possibly 2 legs) is full on squirrels.

They're all downstate! Billions and billions of them........

If you're having a fall like we are, there a bizillions of acorns. The squirrels here simply can't keep up. In the sixteen years I've lived here I've never seen so many acorns....I wonder what that means?

They are here in NC. big time to, teasing & tormenting my 2 German Shepherds, they know to stay out of reach, one or to committed suicide, but they are aggravating.

Dear Heavens....that is the funniest thing I have seen in a while...and probably pretty accurate!
