OMG that is cuuuttteee!!! Yeah I saw the eggs on BST. Last year I gave KathyinMO a whole dozen of lav am eggs in exchange for eggs when she crosses them and they lay. I should get some back this spring....will be blue split silkied ams.

Bailey just gave me a Blue Ameraucana roo split to the silkie gene. I hope we can get a decent breeding program going. I'll be putting my black hens with him in a few weeks.

Woke up this morning to 5 Wheaten Ameraucanas, 9 Lavender Ameraucanas, 1 Silver Ameraucana, 2 Lav/Wellie OE (one is a huge DARK black POOFY chick!), 1 BCM/A (blue) OE, all hatched.

There are a few more working on getting out, and I found 3 had died in their shell.

(1 was a quitter at day 16 or so, 1 Buff Am pipped and died, and 1 Wheaten pipped and died). I am waiting on 6 more to hatch.
