The other pics are crappy/blurry, so I'll take a few more once the rest hatch.

1 Week left on my next bator to hatch. What are my peeps who live in cold climates using for brooders in the house. I have the nice painted wooden ones that DH made for me...but I am about to have too many for them

How come you never get in the car to drive to my house and steal chicks?

Well #1. The road to YOUR house is too long.
#2. The road to MY house is shorter.
#3. You only hatch freakazoids!

I like #3!

I have a big rubber tub and a wooden brooder, plus a big plastic tub I put the chicks in after hatch. It isn't ENOUGH! I realize I am having a hard time parting with my chicks. I need a big, huge barn!

J built a 4' by 4' brooder in the living room. Thing is hugemongous! The Silkies love it though. Had 20-something of them in there at one point.

I have a 2.5 x 3 foot wooden one that the first hatch is in right now. There are only 12 left, but these sussex grow REALLY fast! i want to move them to the smaller brooder. The next bator has 43 eggs going very strong.

Then the week later the other bator still has over 60 in it...If even most of them hatch I will not have enough room.

When do you guys put them in the barn with a heat lamp?

The ones that grow faster (BLRW and EE) go out as soon as they have pretty well feathered out. The Silkies and the Polish will probably stay in the house until it warms up and they go out to their coops because we like having them in the house and have found they are much calmer the more they are around us.
