St. Gabriel Organics DE......is it safe...?

I bought some DE today and it is from Red Lake. It does not say food grade but it does say it is fine for animals. You put it in their feed. It does contain some Calcuim Ben-something (it is out in the shed)

Do you think I can use it in their bedding too?

Also do you think this is safe since it is not food grade?

This DE stuff IS confusing, especially since different companies make it and add different ingredients.

I have a bag of St Gabriel Organics Insect Dust DE that I purchased last summer at a Coop Food Store in Minneapolis MN. The bag has a Food Grade Sticker on the left front of the bag 1/2 on the white and 1/2 on the red part of the bag. It also has anothr sticker on the right side of the bag again 1/2 on the red and 1/2 on the white portion that says OMRI listed for use in organic production.

The product is a white fine dust. The ingredients are:Sicicon dioxide 85%, Other element oxides 10%, Moisture 5%, Total 100%.

The bag also states effective Addition for insect control and long lasting when kept dry.

The website I went to StGabrielOrganics.com then under the products insecticides to the picture of the bag of DE. The picture does not have the stickers on it, like my bag has.My bag is the 4.4 lbs that treats 1 I wonder if someone put their own stickers on the bag? 1800 square feet, The company phone number on the bag is 800-801-0061.

This discussion makes me wonder what Product I have also.
