St. Louis Craigslist chicken coop

Isn't it always like that... try to find a decently priced coop in your area when you get chickens... nothing around... dump $XXX.00 dollars and innumerable weekends into building... get the chickens moved in... someone posts a link to a chicken coop in your area for $XX.00 as soon as you are done...

Looks great. Ought to be featured as HGTV's dream coop regards interior decorating. The wallpaper is just too much! I can tell by the lack of poop that you have just finished it. It will never look that way again tho. LOL

Thanks! They have been in the coop for about a month I guess. It is not quite as clean as the pictures. I do wipe the walls and shelves down and clean the poo trays every other day so it stays nice. I did purchase the little coop on craigslist. It is really nice and I can move my Buckeyes into it and give the others a little more room in the big coop. I still will need to build a third, larger coop..........here I go........just got into chickens and already obsessed.....<laughing>!

Valerieb I am so glad you got the coop. I will keep my eyes open for another one for you........and another one.........and another one! LOL

Thanks SuziQ! It is raining here and I have discovered that this coop leaks in several places. Thankfully I have not put the chickens in yet. It is supposed to be sunny here tomorrow so I am going to get in there and give it some bleach spray (so there is no mold) and blow dry the wet areas and caulk it all real well. Hopefully that will do the trick. It really is a cute little coop and except for the leaks it is fairly sturdy. Should be a decent little place for my Buckeye youngsters once it is caulked and sealed. Thanks again!!!
