So, I had 6 eggs in the incubator, however 2 of the 6 have been staggered and are 4 days younger than the other 4. So anyways, one pipped on day 19 and two more began pipping on day 20, 2 hatched out perfectly fine and one broke out half way and died, I'm thinking it tried hatching too early because whilst inspecting the the chick I noticed a lot of blood. It's now day 22 and still no pipping from the 4th egg, so it's still in my incubator. I'm not sure if it's dead or a late hatcher but it has me nervous, how should I check without shrink wrapping the 2 staggered eggs or the 4th egg itself, or should I just wait it out? I'm a nervous hatching newbie!

If the other eggs haven't pipped externally it's fine to open and check your late egg.

Congratulations on the hatch!

Two hatched is great because they have a friend.

I am sorry one died--It sounds like it pipped into a vein. That happens sometimes, especially with shipped eggs.

Tap the egg and listen for chirping. If you hear chirping all is not lost.

Wait until day 23 or 24 and then open up the egg carefully. It may be alive still but you also want to see if you can figure out why it did not hatch to help make the next hatch better

Yesterday would have been my final day, and unfortunately I'm almost positive it's dead, however my staggered eggs have started pipping and I'd prefer not to risk opening the incubator to take it out. Not a terrible hatch rate for my first time doing this :) I've learned a lot and now I know what I can improve the next time I decide to break and hatch more :jumpy
