Number 4. 100% nn this batch.

Will post candling pics of remaining eggs tonight, need to determine humidity setting for the next week.
The coloring on the one to the back of the incubator ( brown ? ) looks like 4 of the 6 I'd bought before I got Charlie to his new home with me, is the other one silver? I lost #5 out of the 6 that I'd picked up from @BlueBaby. It had coloring that was a grayish. Sad I lost him as he was a bow tie and would have had amazing colors.

2 itty bitties came out from under the heat plate about 2 minutes after I put them in the brooder this morning.

The remaining 3 eggs had movement when I candled. Air cells aren't huge, humidity is at 50% for now. I am not turning those eggs after today.

Awe, I'm sorry you lost one. It's always the one we tend to favor isn't it?

The chick you mentioned is almost a silvery gray brown in the light, hard to tell even now that it's dry though.

This is one of the roosters I kept from my last hatch

Lots of color, nice crow but doesn't over do it, not skittish but not too friendly either.

Oh, he's beautiful.. that other one is going to be gorgeous as well. @BlueBaby gave me 6 eggs, that I was truly amazed hatched..lol, after riding from her place to mine a 5 hour trip, plus the 3 +/- I let them sit to re-balance. We lost 2, #5 and one other. But we have 4 (3-NN's and a full feather) who are thriving.. messy little monsters. The wingettes and Charlie and the angels are doing well as well.

That's quite an adventure for everyone involved! I'm sorry to hear you've lost 2. I have one I'm a bit worried about but I've given them all some vitamins in their water today and keep putting anyone who looks cold under the heat plate.

I dip the beaks of my new hatchling's in vitamin water right off the bat to help them along.
