Staggered hatch questions

I have 16 eggs that need to go on lock down tomorrow and 7 that are due to hatch next Monday. LG still air with a turner. Do I take the turner out and lay them down or should I put them in an egg carton?

I have don either way. I do know if you leave them in a turner, Murphy's Law goes into turbo drive and half your chicks will get tangled up and stuck in the turner. I personally would lay them down. Opinions vary. Maybe lay half down, half in a carton and report back to us what happened? Good luck on your hatch!
