This morning I found an egg that had been layed in the morning. It's shell had a blood/fluid coating on it.

It looked more like rust. It had dried to the eggshell. I have no idea which of my four Khakis layed this. What could be going on? Is this normal? I wouldn't think so. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks so much.

It's not unusual to see blood on the egg shell, now if it was alot and bright red then that would be worrisome, but I would just keep an eye plealed and maybe take a quick look at each girls bum to make sure theres no prolaspe. Thats where a little of the inside can come out when laying an egg. you would know it if you saw it.
