Hi sorry I have not posted sooner but we are trying to prepare for the hurricane. I received the eggs in great shape…none broken! I hate to say it but I am regretting getting them and don’t know if they are going to make it or not with this hurricane about to hit us. From pass experience we are usually without power for a week or more

so no bator. I am going to mark them and put them under a broody hen in the coop and hope for the best. Usually I separate my broody hens when I place eggs under them but I won’t have room to do that for now because of having to move some of my other chickens to safer pens…

so I will be keeping my fingers crossed that they make it in the big coop and the broody stays on them through the chaos of the storm.

Glad they got to you OK but not to glad about the hurricane Guess they cant pick their time to hit All you can do is the best you can and hope its enough Keep me up on what happens if you would please and best of luck
