There is no hard & fast rule about age for showing, but it is generally suggested that you don't show a bird until it is at least 6 months old. The reason is, that you will be competing with adults, and birds under 6 months just don't have the development to compete against the adults to win BOB. But, 6 months to a year is where you can show a pullet or cockerel.
 
What class do coronation sussex show in?

They would be shown as Coronation Sussex in the within the breed Sussex and the Class English. There are no "AOV" categories within a breed. All breeds entered in APA/ABA sanctioned shows must have a variety listed.
