Start and stop, what's up with that?

Okay, so a few weeks ago one of my little Millie Fleur d'Uccles started laying again. She gave me about 5 eggs and then stopped again, I haven't gotten one from her for at least a week. Any ideas? The return of colder weather, maybe?

That's quite common as pullets first start to lay. Their bodies need time to adjust, settle into a routine. (Similar to young girls starting their menstrual cycles.)

She'll start back up soon, then her eggs will get a bit larger and be regular.
