Me Too!!!! And I can't wait to get our bathroom back, the chicks have taken over.
Put them in the coop!
By the time the run is done they will be acclimated to roosting in there.

Night time temps will be 30-40ish, daytime 40-50ish, do you think I should put in the MHP for a bit at night?

Would depend on how old they are....and how you've managed the heat...and if the MHP will fit in coop and be easy to run power to.

I brood chicks inside for about a week, keeping brooder room cool(~60F), even open a window to acclimate them to cooler temps, then move MHP and chicks outside.
BUT ...I have it set up so it's easy to move them and their heat out there.

I did, but only it made me feel better, not because they needed it! I figured no harm in offering it, as long as it can be done safely.

They are 3 weeks old now and have been off heat for a week. I have been leaving a large bathroom window opened from about 7am to 9pm so they are used to the cold and have quite a bit of feathering

Got room for a huddle box?

Huddle Box
Make them a 'huddle box', put it in the brooder after turning off the heat(you might have to 'persuade' them to use it) then move it out to the coop with them.

Cardboard box with a bottom a little bigger than what they need to cuddle next to each other without piling and tall enough for them to stand in.

Cut an opening on one side a couple inches from bottom and big enough for 2-3 of them to go thru at once.

Fill the bottom with some pine shavings an inch or so deep.

This will give them a cozy place to sleep/rest, block any drafts and help hold their body heat in.

They should be fine with a huddle box. Or if you would rather, run an extension cord and move their MHP out for them. No need to keep them in the house if you have a pred. safe coop ready for them. Take back your bathroom!!!!!!!
