We are having the same issue. I think some of it is that they are young and just started and some of it is that they are tricky little chickens and have been hiding them. I found one secret nesting spot so they moved to another spot! . I don’t want to lock them up & limit their free range time because they are so much happier but it is like the world’s hardest Easter egg hunt around here.
