Don't give them options. |Remove the box and anything that remotely resembles a nest.

Will do. I also read that keeping them inside the coop for a day or two and they will learn to use those nesting boxes.
I have been waiting to force them to stay in their coop all day since it's been so damn hot and humid here. I wouldn't want to be cooped up all day until it cools off a little.
