When I got my four Buffs they only had 40Lb bags of chick starter well I can see they wont finish all the starter feed. So I was wondering if I can mix growth feed with starter feed I don't want to waste it. Thoughts please thx.

You can mix them but I would just continue the starter till it is gone. The faster you use it the fresher your feed will be when you get another bag.
IMO, fresh is better than an ages specific feed unless you are talking about a 4% calcium layer feed. That is specifically for hens in production.
Other feeds can be fed to most any of them.
How old are they now and why do you think you need to change feed?

Its a rough guess they are around maybe eight wks old got them at a farm and fleet store so not sure they might have been a week old or so. They are flying around the run they have a lot of feather on the legs.

If the Protein is 18 to 22%, continue to feed till gone or gets a strong or mouldy smell.
I feed a combination Start and Grow feed 18% Protein till point of lay 16 to 20 weeks, and even as a daily feed for adults (Non-Medicated) with Oyster Shells separately for the hens. GC
