Is medicated starter feed alright for bantams? I read a few places they might be more sensitive to Thiamine deficiencies. It will be quite humid/wet where I am when they’ll be entering the coop so I would like to protect them with it if it wouldn’t cause more harm than good.
Also how much will they eat, about the same as their regular size chick counterparts? To decide on what size starter bag to buy.
Thank you!

I feed medicated to my OEGB chicks and haven't had problems with it. But, just make sure it's ground up really fine, not powder, just fine enough so the little banty chicks can actually eat it. I've had my bantam chicks die because they couldn't eat the normal chick crumble.
Also, they do eat less than your standards. Filling my chick feeder lasts 2x-3x longer with my bantams than my standards.
