Starter feed too corse?

Is it possible that my starter feed is too course? Chicks seem to be eating very little, and leaving the more corse pieces. Should I grind it? Advice?

Should be the size of cornmeal. You can pulse it a little in a blender if it's too chunky or wet it down.
