I'm doing 15 as well. I was planning on building maybe a 4x4 wood brooder and keeping it on the floor. This way I can mount a holder for the heat lamp, and there is less of a fire risk with wood vs cardboard.
What is a good flooring for the brooder? I know it can't be slick, but I feel like raw plywood wouldn't be best either. Maybe painted with paint that has grit in it?
