In the Brooder
I hatched a lot of chicks last spring and learned a lot! thanks for all the help and advice.
my trusted and true hovo-bator died may it RIP. I had a friend who wanted me to hatch for her "shipped eggs" safe to say we had issue after issue everything seemed to go wrong.. with my new incubator little giant 9300..
day 25 we opened eggs to see perfectly formed chicks that just seemed to have died and never hatch...
so here I am testing my new little giant 9300 incubator in hopes for help, advice, and hopefully hatch healthy chicks.
I have 24 eggs from my own flock that are fresh and healthy. right now I have a huge mixed flock the roosters are a heritage barred rock. and also a cream leg bar from the the rees line. for hens I have lots of sex links, EE and a few odd balls
so a good chance of olive eggers and more mixed odd balls
iv cleaned my incubator & I plan to dry hatch. I have a second thermometer and humidity gage.
any advice on little giant 9300 would be great. it does have a turner but no fan.
eggs in read set go.
