Starting a new flock...breed recommendations?

Chantecler are a Canadian breed. they are specially bred to do well in cold weather like you'll get in northern Minnesota.

You can download the PDF of the Breeders Directory from the Chantecler Fanciers International website .there are three breeders in Wisconsin and one in Michigan that offer a variety of colors and and one of them has the bantam Whites. all nice people. give them a call and see. I know at least one of them ships Birds
the others you can meet them in a show near you and they can bring the birds to the show and you can pick them up.
