My first flock is dual-purpose layers, 28 weeks old and producing an average of 11.5 eggs a day. They're in the link below. Not purebreds, just a production bird with great temperament and easy keepers!

Thanks for all of the replies. The Buff Rocks are another that we were looking at as well. I guess that we just need to make some decisions now. May just have to get a couple of each.
