Just moved an starting a new flock. Looking for healthy pullets so I don't have to wait till new year to order from hatcheries. Figured this would be best place to find them. I live in the ozarks around mountain View.

Ridgerunner I think I'd like to start with a Brahma rooster an a couple of pullets I think a large bird would be better with all the predator birds I have here along with cool damp weather by the river. I've mostly had RIR which have been great but want something different now

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. The first breed I ever owned were Brahmas (50 years ago), and they were gentle giants.) If you haven't done so already, definitely check out our Learning Center at https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. There is lots of useful information there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Cheers.
