Starting Again

We lived in town to be near my husband's job. One Easter I made sure our 3 chicks were female. They would be added to our 'flock' of two. Hopefully we'd end up with 5 hens (we did!) and have fresh eggs. The last of the Easter chicks died 25 years ago. Now we have a little more property and time and I want to do it again.....the right way. My resource is gone now (my parents) and I may need some info....So, here I am!
