We set our second batch of eggs on the 6th around 9:30am. Our first batch was the ones with the oil!

We candled on day 14 and saw what our inexperienced eyes thought were chickens. We're now starting day 21 (I think) and I'm having doubts since we're seeing NO action yet.

Any words of wisdom out there?

Wisdom from a tuffoldhen ... be patient!!....your temps could have been alittle low and this will also cause the hatch to pip later....

Quote from my 8 year old, "Mama, you always tell me it's good to be patient.".

I told her not to listen to everything I say! Ha

You can have a late hatch. Don't give up yet. Keep the humidity up and the bator closed. Sit on your hands.

I am sending good hatching vibes your way!

It worked!!!! Hubbie called last night that he could hear them peeping. Then I'm up at 4am to one pip. Then at 6am we have a chickie out (different one from 4am) and one unzipping. No more action but we're very excited!

My heart skipped a beat this morning when I saw the broken shell and a wet little chick just laying there. Then it moved!

Congrats on the hatch! I hope the rest make it!
