Hello from Alabama,
Just starting from the beginning. Recently retired from the military and got a little over 9 acres. Starting from nothing basically getting ready to build the coop in preparation of getting some chicks in the spring.

Nope, Nope, and Nope.
I was thinking maybe 5 or 6 to start. Looking for eggs mainly at the start. Just reading and studying but there’s so much out there how do you know?
