The 'Chicken Tractor' my grandfather, a lifetime wood crafter, came up with based on some plans he found online. The original wheel design is a bit weak, I think, but they do work. I told him I would try to sell a few of these online, the others I've seen of this type and quality seem to go for 2-3 grand each, and we could do it much cheaper.
This is a table I would like to convert into another 'chicken coop'
Here is the front of the clubhouse now, with fence
The nestboxes we've built
The chickens 'back yard'
The baby chicken thing.
The Roost Boxes from the inside - will these be big enough holes?
Would love any feedback or tips on any of this, esp. how to turn that table into an effective dirtfloor coop, I am considering just sticking it next to the wood fence and using a lean to shelter to run rain off and thats that. Also, in the chicken 'house' I have since taken the floor OUT of the coop because I want the benefits of the dirt floor. That was hard work! Now I am only worried about hawks really. Any diggers I can bury fence in the ground around the houses to stop.
