Starting the breed guessing game with my Surprise order babies

That gray-ish one with white feathers growing in, it's a white giant, we had 3 (2 disappeared, I believe they either died of predators, since we have very high standards for our birds - if ya can't live free rangin' and dodgin' the predators ya got no place on our farm, and the other died because of our evil tom) I was very intrigued when I found them at the feedco

Lol, our older (teenage) birds are ranging. Well, except for Lucy, whose idea of ranging is following someone until they feed her. Goofy cross beak EE has gotten extra attention to keep her well fed. Twice yesterday she was climbing up my back while I was sitting in a chair next to our tank full of babies. She got on my back to peek over my shoulder and see what I was feeding and how she could find some for herself.

White Giant would be okay by me. The bigger the better, as our local hawks would have a harder time pestering them.

Here are more updated pics of the questionable chicks. I also got photos of the bottoms of the Australorp or Giant chicks (or something else), and the one white chick.

You know, I was just starting to think that this morning, when I was looking at Cackle's lineup. I noticed a few grayish chicks in their chick pictures, and this one's white feathers are coming in VERY white. It seems longer than some of the other chicks, and on the bigger side.

Number 32 - anyone familiar with Cackle's Red Broilers? I am thinking that is what it is. Anyone have pictures of theirs? That is one bird they don't picture in their catalog.

Okay, so this post is edited and in numerical order (which puts the susected breeds in groupings together). Hopefully that makes it easier. My computer has a habit of every once in a while shutting down on me, so I had to post the disorganized version earlier just to make sure I didn't lose it before I got it posted.

29, 30, 32, 34, and 37 remain for sure unidentified as far as breed goes. Some are starting to show characteristics that might indicate sex (for example, the combs on both Wyandottes have been red for 1-2 weeks, and the combs are very pronounced on the susected Leghorns.).
