Starting to wonder about my EE pullet, am I seeing saddle feathers, or just paranoid?

I’m always the odd one out...

Can you hold onto he/she for a little longer? It’s not screaming cockerel to me. The coloration and feather pattern seems to be very deceiving in this little one (although very beautiful!). He/she should molt their juvenile feathers again soon and you will definitely know then. I had an EE pullet that acted like a cockerel when she was young. Little trouble maker she was!

I can wait, it gets harder to let go the longer we have him, but as long as there's hope. I have emailed pics to the seller, but they are closed today. Certainly going to get their take on it too.

The comb would be twice as big and bright red if a cockerel. I see that lovely red color, but no wing bars that would indicate cockerel. Its too early for adult saddle feather to be appearing, either male or female.... so that's out.

This looks like a pullet to me.
