Beyond that, perhaps if you shared a bit more about what it is you are considering we would be better able to offer advice, information, etc.

Here is the breed section lots of info on different breeds. https://www.backyardchickens.com/products/category/chicken-breeds
It points out if they are good for laying, meat birds or a more fancy or show breed. I started out with red sex link hens that were excellent egg layers, quiet and easy to keep. They were a great starter bird.
