I don't name my chickens. Mostly because they aren't really much of what I consider pets. And also because I live in a predator-prone area, and I lose quite a few chickens a year while the average person may lose 1 or 2. But I see nothing wrong at all with naming chickens, it's just something I have my reasons for not doing, as people have there reasons for doing.I always wonder why people say you shouldn't name chickens. I know they say you shouldn't name them because that makes it harder to lose them, but to me that would be like saying you can't name your dog because you might become too attached. :/
Ooh, awesome! I've dreamed of owning my own horse, but I guess I'm stuck volunteering at a stable on Tuesdays until then. HahaI'm obsessed with horses too. I board my horse, a gray Saddlebred/Arabian, at a nearby stable I take lessons at.
