I'm not real fond of when people free range there chickens for a time and then suddenly keep the. Cooped up inside, I don't that as fair for the chicken.

Most people do it because they really don't have a choice anymore. Some people have problems with stray dogs, weasels, or in my case hawks, and they just can't free range them anymore. I don't usually do things like this without reason.
