A hawk attacked my chickens right in front of me this morning. I was able to save all of them and get them inside, but I won't be free ranging my girls anymore.

That's good!!! I decided not to range my pet chickens anymore a few months back, I like it much better.....

Most people do it because they really don't have a choice anymore. Some people have problems with stray dogs, weasels, or in my case hawks, and they just can't free range them anymore. I don't usually do things like this without reason.
