State a fact about yourself!

Tell me that I have a hard heart, go ahead, but if Sunni got her skull mashed, her chances of living a healthy, happy life are about 0.009%. I would cull her, but that's probably because I don't get real attached to my avian-type livestock, although I love Moose the Goose very much.

It doesn't matter whether she wants to live or not- if she's hurting, she's hurting.

Well, what I meant was whether she wants to try to live even though she is in pain.
I am not trying to offend you here, but who would want to live if they are in that much pain? I don't know if you are religious, but there's a better place up there. This world is just a stop on the ride to where we really belong.

I'm a vet-in-training. Since I'm not there to see her injuries, I can't give you an accurate guess but from her symptoms, she seems about ready to hit the bucket.

Can you post a picture, MsChickenMomma?

It doesn't sound like she is in TOO much pain, probably just a little pain. I am not religious.. I have put animals down who were in a lot of pain, but I don't think Sunni is in too bad of a condition. Honestly, I think in a few days she may be all better, MsChickenMomma said she has improved :)

I know Sunni, and I know when she's in pain or suffering. I am not being selfish by keeping her alive. I'm keeping her alive because she seems happy and comfortable. Now, if she were to get worse or was in obvious agony, I would have her put down.

Im not keeping her alive because I don't want to lose her. Trust me, this morning I was really close to putting her in the car and taking her to be euthanized. But she is clearly better.

I will so what I know is best for her, and I'm sorry if you disagree.

My mom is a vet. And she says (without actually seeing her but knowing the symptoms) that she really shouldn't need to be put down if she seems to be improving like this. My mom thinks she may have a concussion but that should heal.

I hope she gets better soon! :hugs
