State a fact about yourself!

Yup. Long story short, she ate a string when she was 10 weeks old. It got twisted around her tongue and when she would swallow food it would pull the string tighter and tighter, and it strangulated her tongue. We spent 3 months treating her for what we thought was Wet Fowl Pox, and one day when we were swabbing her tongue, it popped off.

OH MY!!!   is she able to eat properly?  She ok?

Yeah, she's fine! It took her 2 months two learn, but she can eat and drink fine. She can't eat anything the size of a chicken crumble or smaller, so she eats pellets.

I know!! But she is completely normal now. Nobody even knows that she doesn't have a tongue unless I tell them. She has learned to adapt really well without one. She even makes sounds just like any other chicken would without problems.

I felt like this thread is a bit off it's original purpose. It was originally like "I have two cats". But I like how the thread ended up.
