I would watch them all day if I could

A newbe. In snow and ice covered Mo
I live on a homestead.I have 4milk goats..6 ducks and 4 geese.
Most important over 40chickens I say over 40 because as you all know. They never stand still for a head count

I am on the mo/ark state line by west plains
We got 3 in.of snow
I ice storm is hitting the window s from the east so hard.I had to turn the tv up
I made oatmeal with mollases ground eggg shells for my biddies this morning.
They all love treats...so do I

I wish I had my day off of school but I am homeschooled.

Yes we have alot of eggs.I keep a light on until 9:00 pm
I mix 1 bag of hog finisher in with my chickens feed
it is a great protein boost
I am in the mtn and it is cold
I keep my biddies on self feed when the first snow flies.It helps keep them warmer
Keeps us in eggs all winter
I found ,with suprise. My ducks are good layers to.
Great for baking.yummy waffles
