State a fact about yourself!

Awesome! Are you hatching pure breds, or are they mixes? I don't know how I'm ever going to make it through the next 74 days. It's been 2 weeks since I ordered my chicks, and I'm already out of things to do to keep me busy. I guess I could carry all of the feed bags in our garage to my barn. It's like 200 feet, so you can probably tell why I've been putting it off. Lol! Carrying 50 pound bags of feed over 200 feet through the snow isn't very fun. It's easy in the summer though.

Lol yeah. I'm going to sell the chicks that I hatch this time so that I can hatch myself a duck and keep it when the weather gets warmer. I don't have a barn, I have a chicken coop that me my dad and my grandfather made this summer so I have limited room for more birds :b

My barn is really small. I have just enough space for a goat pen, chicken coop, and the feed. I used to have a really big barn. I had 6 ducks, 36 chickens, 2 goats, and 9 cats. We moved to the house we live in now a year ago tomorrow. I miss my big barn and my ducks a lot... We have to re-home my goats this spring, but my dad promised to help me turn the goat pen into another chicken coop. I'm hoping that I will be able to convince my parents to let me get ducks again. My mom isn't a huge fan of barn animals. She didn't like how noisy and messy our last ducks were. We had 4 mallards though, and they were really wild.

I have 3 chickens (1 silkie and an FCM pair) and I have 1 mallard duck, 2 dogs, 1 cat, and a gecko. I have never lived on a farm so my chicken coop and my chickens are the most barn-animals I've ever had. I almost bought a baby goat this summer but my parents aren't much of animal people and they wouldn't let me, in fact they said the only reason they let me have the chickens and duck is because when they agreed to let me keep any that i hatched they didn't believe that I could actually do it. And awe I'm sorry about your ducks and goats ):
