Just got home from spending the day at a Fresian farm working with the horses. I got to groom them, and we got one of the horses ready for a photo shoot. Then we spent 20 minutes chasing the horse around the field to get her to trot. It was exhausting but VERY fun! I look forward to going out to the farm again. I love horses <3

I also found a home for my goats! They are going back to my moms friend. We bought our goats from her when they were babies. I'm glad they are going back to her because I will be able to visit them when my mom gets milk from her every week, and I know she takes good care of her goats.

Is putting 19 eggs in lockdown tomorrow- hasn't had a single quitter this whole incubation, and when I candled, each and every one looked ready to hatch, alive, and moving with beautiful veining. They should be hatching Thursday or Friday!!!

I'm thinking about asking my dad if we can make a broody hen house in my barn so I have a place to let my hens hatch chicks and raise them. That or ask him to make me a bigger brooder. My current one is too short. He made it thinking of the chicks and forgot to measure how tall my hens are. Lol!

I'm always asking my dad to make me chicken coops/brooders! He likes to build stuff, so it's not a huge deal. He's already going to help me build a second coop so my rooster who is getting bullied can have his own flock. We are turning our goat pen into a chicken coop we just can't start until our goats go to live at my moms friends house.
