Has never lost a chicken to a predator, while the chicken was in their coop at night. I have lost 1 chicken to a (stupid) hawk, and 1 to a coyote, while they were outside of the coop. The one that the (stupid) hawk took was my favorite chicken..

Get a security camera and if you see someone in the footage call the cops.

The type of thing that holds the door in place can't really be locked.

I'm thinking about getting a security camera just in case. I could also watch my chickens that way.
