State a fact about yourself!

What a wee cutie! Our next dog is going to be smaller. I love my big dog but she's a handful. She chases cats and barks at other dogs when she's out for walks on a lead. She can be difficult to control, especially considering that there are stray dogs and cats everywhere here! Plus people are scared of her because she's big and intimidating. But she's fantastic with us and the kids, really gentle, but i'm sure she'd attack a burglar if we ever had one! My husband wanted a big guard dog, and she certainly is that! She's a big softy really, just not with strangers :/

Cats he loves them helps that we have one but he just wants to play with them. Hes a proper guard dog and barks at everyone that walks past our window and goes nuts nuts if they open the gate and come down our path. Doesnt like people he doesnt know fussing him and thst goes for kids too. You daid your next dog is going to be smaller what kind are you thinking of getting? :)

The next one will probably be a rescue. So it could be anything! Demi is a pedigree but people here are not responcible breeders, they just breed for profit and not for healthy, good tempered dogs. It was my husband who wanted a big dog to deter burglars, I'm not fussed about the breed as long as it's good with the kids. Demi is never agressive with the kids, but she's so big and she charges about like an overgrown puppy in the garden and sometimes runs into them and sends them flying! I see so many puppies on the street here every year and i want to take them all home, but i don't because we live in the center and don't have the space or the means to keep them all!

In relation to fluoride:

There is a stack of scientific evidence showing that fluoride protects your teeth and helps prevent cavities. The low amounts in toothpaste and drinking water are not harmful. It's only harmful in high concentrations. Ground water is naturally fluoridated as it is a naturally occurring mineral in the rock. It's been well documented that in places where there is naturally high fluoride in the drinking water the people living in those areas have less cavities compared with people living in low fluoride areas. This is how scientists first realized the link between fluoride and cavities and that it has a protective effect. Think about it, almost everyone uses fluoride toothpaste and drinks fluoridated water. If toothpaste is toxic how come no one gets sick from it? Where are all the people being poisoned by their toothpaste? The most harm fluoride toothpaste can do is give you some white spots on your teeth, that's not exactly a health hazard.

Have a read at this, it explains everything: http://www.nidcr.nih.gov/oralhealth/topics/fluoride/thestoryoffluoridation.htm

Here's one for the girls

I use a mooncup. See here - http://www.mooncup.co.uk/

It's cheaper than tampons so it saves you money. It's reusable, you only need to buy 1 as it lasts a lifetime. It's environmentally friendly because it's reusable - all the tampons or pads you use every month all end up at landfill or in the sea. And it's safer and more hygienic as it's made of hypo-allergenic, bacteria resistant medical grade silicon and is not associated with toxic shock syndrome. It can be used day and night and when you're swimming - it's waterproof.
