State a fact about yourself!

I feel trapped in these stupid suburbs.

I don't blame ya.

I live in the middle of nowhere,Kansas. 70 acre property, nearest neighbor is a mile and a half away, driveway's a half a mile long and dirt, and I can have all the pets I want without worrying about zoning laws and other bull. Sure we get some drag racers out here but my dad chasing them with the shotgun works also...LOL!

lol! Oh, we have a about 7 acres of land and about 20-30 of woods and raspberries. Were very blessed to have such diverse property! Oh, ya, we also get drag racers. Too bad my dad doesn't have a shotgun.

It's just my personal opinion, but I don't like pet stores. They cram big dogs in tiny cages, and the little rat dogs go in with the big dogs, which won't be a happy ending for the little guy if the big dog has a temper,etc....And those conditions worsen as you buy from a pet store, because after you buy those animals, they get replacements from the puppy mill, bird breeder, etc. And there are also a lot of great animals at the shelter that need good homes. I've gotten my dogs, cats, goats, and rabbits from there. I also have gotten my 3 horses from the humane society.
Again,just my opinion.

our pet store is family owned and doesn't have dogs or cats . actually they don't really have a lot of animals at all. well except fish. i actually had to wait to get my ferret because they buy them from a breeder that didn't have any at the time. i know what you mean about that tho. i have seen big pet stores like that and i agree with your opinion about them. it is inhumane to keep animals in those conditions.
