Sweet! I've always been interested in falconry. I just don't have the time to do it ^-^; I'm off to the army once I graduate, which won't be long. You'll have to share pictures when you catch your bird!

Of course!!! Well I am still deciding between hawk and kestrel. And I have to study for the test. I took one and it was HARD!!! Suprisingly they arent illrgal here

I talked to a General Falconer from Montana once. She said Red Tails are good for the hunt, and are very easy going birds since losing a couple grams won't harm it. However, she said Kestrels are better for the friendship; almost like a pet.

If I do decide on falconry, I'd definitely get a Red Shouldered Hawk, as they're legal for Apprentices in my state ^^
